KFTHC- Improving Lives~ One Horse At A Time

2018 in Review
  • KFTHC achieved Premier Accreditation through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship, International.
  • 51 KFTHC volunteers provided 559 hours of Equine Assisted Activities to 54 Individuals from the greater Madison County area.
  • KFTHC provided 178 hours of Equine Assisted Activities to United States Veterans and their families
  • KFTHC Hosted two Interns from Berea College during the summer months of 2018.
  • KFTHC received a $3300.00 Grant from the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs to construct an Abilities Course on The Jacks Creek Property
 
Our Mission
The Kentucky Foothills Therapeutic Horsemanship Center, Inc., is dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals with physical, emotional and developmental disabilities by facilitating the age-old relationship between horse and human.
Our mission is to provide a safe, secure environment in which individuals can benefit from experiencing, riding and driving horses in a manner which acknowledges not only the special needs but the special abilities of each and every rider.
