Vocational Horsemanship
VHMS is a real-life experience of groundwork with horses. Individuals learn about horse care, grooming, anatomy, lameness and health issues, tack, horse handling, and more. Vocational horsemanship is a hands-on program, and provides every day life skills associated with horses and farm life. Riding is not included in vocational horsemanship. VHMS is appropriate for individuals with and without special needs. Participants must be able to perform moderate physical labor.
